speed-paintings

Two sketches I produced as a demo during my concept art lecture at filmschool in Ludwigsburg. Thanks again to everyone for your interest and patience. It's been a great experience. I have to say that I am very pleased with the outcome of our little workshop and looking forward to seeing more digital paintings from each of you in the future.

great scetches, peter!!!
it must have been a blast for the students to see how quick you can do this. of course photoshop is very helpfull, but the artist is still the mastermind!!! nice composition and even in this early step i love the robot design.

big hugs

wow, this is brilliant, you seem to master every environnement!
(yes, I'm kind of jealous! ;-))
and I agree with you about what you told me on your last comment, suggesting things into shadows could be great for people's imagination.
(they can't count on tv for that! ahah!)

thanks a million for sharing all these great things, it's always a pleasure to come back here!

For most artists it might be frightening to sketch spontaneously with 30 hungry eyes on their back.
But not Sensei Popken. Both pieces are great, but I REALLY dig the robot!
